Lorraine, a.k.a."ersatz", is the owner of the Cabana.  She has spent her career in the communications industry primarily in information systems development, marketing and business administration.  Currently, she is a volunteer for a hospice/home health care program and an adult day care center.  Lorraine has been with us from the start, and brings her quick wit and even hand to our staff.

More about the site:

The Cabana is a little-known hideaway where all the nicest people from around the globe gather to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. It's a place to where you can go to meet new friends, have some laughs and get away from it all for a little while. Kick back, relax and have some fun with us!

A big part of what makes the Cabana a truly great place are the various features we offer for your enjoyment. On our home page you'll find links to wonderful places such as our very own E-zine. We have a new issue each Friday filled with regular features and articles, touching on a world of different topics, written by people just like you! Make sure you check it out and maybe even send something in. We'd love to include your contributions! We also have a Photo Album featuring people, pets, travel and artistic shots; our Library filled with original poems, short stories and articles of general interest, written by the guests and regulars who visit us!; the Chat Room where you can go to get to know some of our members; the Babble Bullpen, our fun version of the Popcap game, Psychobabble.

Each of those features are just a small part of why the Cabana is such an amazing place. The members that participate in our message board are the largest part of what makes this place so unique. We said that this was a place that feels relaxing and comfortable but it goes beyond that. Coming to the Cabana feels like coming home to family and friends after a long, hard day. Why not take a look and see for yourself? We'd love to have you be a part of this wonderful place!
